Export Pages or Queries for an earlier and recent period with Clicks, Impressions, CTR and Position.
Use two exports or one comparison CSV. The analyzer focuses on rows where rank and impressions stay relatively stable.
Prioritize rows with the largest prior-CTR click gap and verify whether the current search result is satisfying users without a click or simply earning a weaker CTR.
This is a diagnostic tool, not another generic analytics dashboard.
Separates click losses that happened without a large ranking decline.
Avoids calling a demand collapse a zero-click problem.
Estimates how many clicks the recent impressions would have produced if the earlier CTR had held.
Ranks candidate queries/pages using CTR decline, ranking stability, impression stability and current position.
The page labels the result as SERP/CTR pressure rather than claiming an AI feature caused the loss.
Export the highest-priority rows and work through them in a content or SEO workflow.
Give your visitors the same browser-local analyzer directly inside an article, resource page, agency site or client portal.
The useful pattern is not simply 'clicks went down.' A stronger signal appears when impressions remain similar, average position remains similar, but CTR falls and clicks decline. That means the page is still being shown in roughly the same place, yet fewer searchers choose to visit.
Search Console exports do not tell you which exact SERP feature prevented a click. AI answers are one possible explanation, but featured snippets, ads, shopping modules, stronger competitor snippets, local packs, knowledge panels and changing search intent can also reduce CTR. The tool therefore identifies CTR-pressure candidates and tells you which searches to inspect manually.
For each candidate, the analyzer multiplies recent impressions by the earlier CTR, then subtracts recent clicks. The result is a scenario estimate: how many clicks would have occurred if recent impressions had earned the older CTR. It is not a forecast and should not be treated as fully recoverable traffic.
Queries that require a decision, comparison, calculator, interactive result, download, original data set, first-hand test or transaction generally give the searcher more reason to visit a website than questions that can be completely answered in a short summary. Use the candidate list to decide where a richer on-page experience is justified.
This tool works from the fields present in your export. It cannot see data that Google Analytics, Search Console or your tracking setup did not record. Diagnostic labels are designed to narrow investigation and should be verified before major SEO, analytics or blocking decisions.
