About Hans
Hans Sacher is the founder and editor of IM Review HQ. His work focuses on affiliate marketing, SEO publishing, website building and the software used to run online-marketing workflows.
IM Review HQ is built around a research-based review model. When Hans has not personally tested a product, the review does not pretend otherwise. The job is to assemble and cross-check the buyer information that is often scattered across sales pages, JV pages, documentation, vendor demonstrations, pricing tables, screenshots, guarantees and upgrade funnels, then explain what those facts mean for a prospective user.
That distinction is deliberate: a useful review can add value through verification, comparison and analysis without inventing first-hand experience.

Review Approach
Each research-based review is approached as a buyer-decision problem rather than a feature rewrite. Important factual claims are checked against primary sources where practical, conflicts between current and older vendor material are called out, and vendor-provided screenshots or demonstrations are labeled as vendor evidence.
| What Hans checks | Why it matters to a buyer |
|---|---|
| Current pricing and billing model | Launch pages, affiliate pages and live checkout offers can disagree or change over time. |
| OTOs and upgrade funnel | A low front-end price may not represent the cost of the functionality a buyer expects. |
| Guarantee/refund wording | Refund periods and conditions can differ by offer or change after launch. |
| Vendor screenshots and demonstrations | Useful as evidence of the interface or claimed workflow, but not presented as independent personal testing. |
| Alternatives and tradeoffs | Shows when another approach may be a better fit instead of treating every reviewed product as the obvious choice. |
| Operational costs | API usage, credits, recurring subscriptions and time requirements can change the real economics. |
