Corrections Policy
How IM Review HQ handles factual errors, product updates and correction requests.
Our Commitment
We want reviews to be accurate when they are published and to remain useful as products change. If we discover a material factual error, we correct it as soon as practical.
What Counts as a Correction
A correction may be appropriate when a review contains an incorrect price, feature description, plan limit, company detail, guarantee term, product capability or other verifiable fact.
Product Changes Are Not Always Errors
Software changes frequently. A statement can have been accurate when a review was published and later become outdated. In that situation, we update the review rather than treating the original statement as misconduct or fabrication.
How to Request a Correction
Use the contact page and include the page URL, the specific statement you believe is inaccurate, the proposed correction and a reliable source or documentation supporting the change.
How Requests Are Reviewed
We compare the request with the documented evidence available, including current product documentation, official pricing, checkout information, vendor materials and other reliable sources where appropriate.
Material Corrections
When a correction materially changes the meaning of a review, written verdict or recommendation, the page may be updated with a visible note explaining what changed. Minor spelling or formatting fixes normally do not require a correction note.
Editorial Control
Companies may provide factual corrections, but they do not control the opinion, written verdict or recommendation in a review. A request to remove accurate criticism or change a conclusion is not treated as a factual correction.
