One free image workflow

Resize once, publish everywhere

Turn one source image into a complete social pack, then handle the everyday resize, crop, compression and WebP jobs from the same browser tool.

One-click social media pack

Create multiple Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest and Open Graph sizes from one selected image.

Approximate safe-zone previews

Preview a practical keep-clear area for platform UI, profile overlays and edge cropping before you download. Guides never appear in the exported image.

Batch + clipboard input

Apply one workflow to as many as 30 images, drag files in, or paste an image from your clipboard, then download finished files together as a ZIP.

Ready-made publishing sizes

Use presets for blog/OG images, YouTube, Instagram, Stories/Reels, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, email headers and website heroes.

Six resize modes

Crop to fill, contain with padding, fit without padding, width-only, height-only or exact stretch.

Crop focus + rotate/flip

Keep the important part of the image with nine crop focal points, plus 90Β°/180Β°/270Β° rotation and horizontal or vertical flipping.

WebP, JPG and PNG output

Convert images into a web-friendly format without using a paid image API.

Target file sizes

Try to fit strict 100 KB, 200 KB, 300 KB, 500 KB or custom upload limits automatically.

High-quality browser resizing

The canvas uses high-quality image smoothing and keeps processing on your device.

Metadata stripped on export

New files are redrawn in the browser, so source EXIF metadata is generally not copied into the output.

Before/after comparison

See dimensions, file sizes and percentage savings before you download the optimized version.

Transparent image support

Keep transparency with WebP/PNG or choose a solid padding/background color when needed.

SEO filename cleanup

Keep names, lowercase them or turn them into clean hyphenated slugs with an optional suffix.

Optimization report

Download a CSV showing original/output dimensions, bytes, savings, format, quality and notes for every processed image.

How to use it

Create a social image pack in four steps

Add your source images

Drag images into the workspace or choose them from your device. The tool reads them locally; you do not need an account or upload them to IMReviewHQ.

Set the crop focus

Choose a focal position or click the original preview to mark the face, product or logo that should stay visible when different aspect ratios are created.

Choose your social sizes

Select all common sizes or only the platforms you use. The pack uses your current WebP/JPG/PNG and quality settings while keeping each selected output at its preset dimensions.

Preview, download and reuse

Create the pack, inspect every result with optional safe-zone guides, then download individual images or the complete social pack as one ZIP.

Two workflows in one toolUse Social Media Pack when one image needs multiple platform sizes. Use Output settings when you want to batch-process many images to one exact size, format or file-size target.

Included image-size presets

The presets below are convenient starting points. Social platforms can change recommendations, so use the custom-size fields when you need a specification supplied by a particular platform or client.

Which output format should you use?

WebP is the default because it often produces substantially smaller web images while retaining good visual quality. JPG remains useful for photographs and compatibility-focused workflows. PNG is useful when you need lossless output or transparency and file size is less important.

Important: file-size savings depend on the source image. A photo and a flat graphic can compress very differently, and a PNG may become larger after resizing if the source was already highly optimized.

FAQ

Social Media Image Resizer & WebP Compressor FAQ

Are my images uploaded?

No. The image data is processed locally in your browser. This tool does not need to send the source image to IMReviewHQ to resize or compress it.

Can I batch compress images?

Yes. Add up to 30 images, choose one set of output settings and process the batch. You can then download the completed files as a ZIP.

Can I make every image exactly 1200Γ—630?

Yes. Choose Blog / Open Graph and use Crop to fill exact size. If you do not want any part of the source cropped, choose Fit inside exact canvas or Fit inside box instead.

Can I compress an image under 200 KB?

Select the 200 KB target. For WebP/JPG, the tool searches for a quality setting that fits under the target. If you also enable dimension reduction, it can progressively reduce pixels when quality alone is not enough.

Does WebP always make an image smaller?

No format guarantees a smaller result for every source. The tool shows the actual before/after file sizes so you can keep the version that makes sense.

What happens to EXIF metadata?

The image is redrawn into a new browser canvas before export, so source metadata such as camera EXIF is generally not transferred to the new file.

Can I create all social-media sizes from one image?

Yes. Select an image, choose the platforms you need in the Social Media Pack section, create the outputs and download them individually or together as a ZIP.

Are the safe zones added to my downloaded image?

No. Safe zones are preview-only guides intended to help keep important text, faces and logos away from common interface and crop areas. They are never burned into the exported file.

Can other websites embed this tool?

Yes. Use the embed code above. It loads a streamlined version of the tool and includes a small attribution link to IMReviewHQ.
